BRADY, STEWART, GREEN & YOUNG
First Single Shipped To Radio

'THIS OLD HOUSE', the first radio single from 'BRADY, STEWART, GREEN & YOUNG's album , 'ARROW', shipped to radio and selected media earlier this month as a track on the compilation disc NFS #138 and has been receiving a good response from both radio and the listening public. The track, with Stephen Brady on lead vocal, features the superb playing of musicians such as Bill Chambers, Stuie French, Dave Ellis and Mick Albeck. It also includes a musical contribution from esteemed classical musician, Laura Vaughan, who plays the lirone. This is apparently the first time that this instrument has ever been played on a non-classical recording.

We are proud to announce the launch of Blue Shamrock Music, a new independent recording label based in the Central Coast of NSW, Australia, in conjunction with the release of the albums ‘ARROW’ and ‘ADRIFT’. We have many exciting plans for future album releases and we expect to shortly announce new additions to the Blue Shamrock Music artist roster. Our initial focus will be on country, folk, roots and acoustic music and we will endeavor to record, promote and distribute the best artists and music that the independent scene has to offer.
Longer term, we look forward to expanding our catalogue to also include overseas artists and to developing jazz, blues and classical music divisions. We are excited about our initial 2 releases that are launching the label and eagerly anticipate the new projects that are slated for release in 2010. Our motto at BLUE SHAMROCK is MUSIC FOR MUSIC’S SAKE. We hope and trust that you may experience the same array and depth of emotions and share in the joy that music brings to us..

Blue Shamrock Music is proud to announce the release of ‘ADRIFT’, Stephen Brady’s first solo album for the label. Three years in the making, 21 musicians, 14 vocalists and 4 engineers contribute to its 15 tracks. The primarily acoustic collection covers a range of styles that combine to produce an impressive album that is certain to appeal to lovers of country, folk and roots music. Featuring duets with Lianna Rose, Bec Willis, Victoria Baillie, Jenny Marie Lang, Jo Membery, Karen O’Shea and Anthony Taylor the album also includes guest vocals from Liz Green & Sandra Young from the quartet ‘Brady, Stewart, Green & Young’.
