Brent Duncan

Brent Duncan is an Australian Singer-Songwriter, who grew up on the outskirts of Melbourne, South east Gippsland, in Victoria.  He is an experimental artist who loves fusing genres together, but traditional country music is where his heart lies.

He began writing songs at age 13 and recorded his first demo single, rock song – ‘Rocket Boots’, written about the animated Astro Boy in 2008, which won him an award for most requested song at the American Indie Music Chart Awards. He then released his Rock / Electronic debut album in 2011, inspired by the likes of Linkin Park & Bon Jovi.

His first ever number 1 score, titled ‘Sexy Stranger’ (a dance track) was by public vote on the UK Beat 100 Charts, in 2018.

The Pop / Electronic track, ‘Music is My Drug’ shot up the Triple J unearthed Charts, then in 2019 his debut country single hit the Top 5 on Australian Country Radio, with the hits ‘Magic Moon’, and ‘Shania’s on the Radio’.

No matter which genre it is, Brent promises and delivers, proving his versatility in any field of music.

His late father, Johnny – a country and western Singer and Yodeller, significantly influences his music.

Brent has released multiple albums across many genres, the latest – “Tiger Love”, described as “beautiful, heartfelt, catchy & traditional country”, is out now.
