Chris James

An accomplished singer/songwriter and entertainer, Chris James, first discovered his love of music in the family home and fondly recalls the ‘arguments’ between his parents around the Sunday dinner table – his Mum wanted to listen to Elvis while his Dad wanted to listen to his beloved country music instead.

Having been in the music industry for the past 40 years, Chris’ musical versatility ensures he has a vast repertoire of songs covering a number of genres – from the 50s to the 70s.  But it’s country music which allows him to showcase his real talent, and writing songs with a great story is what he strives for.

This is Chris’ first single in over nine years, as he tries to write songs with substance that will strike a chord with his audience and hopes that ‘Red Dirt on His Hands’ achieves that.
