Written by his late mate, Charlie Rundell, a well-respected & loved family man, truck driver in his younger years and a legend in his time around the Bunyip area of Victoria, Charlie credited the success he enjoyed in life to his wonderful wife Lorna. Lorna was the woman behind the man behind the wheel.
Charlie asked Col personally to record this great song & Col promised him he would at the very first opportunity. This opportunity came up at LBS studios just recently. Lindsay Butler produced Col’s very first album back in 1985, and Lindsay was the obvious choice to bring Charlie’s song to life.
The result is a great upbeat radio single destined for the success that Col’s talent commands and so richly deserves.
