Gail Barnard – Country Girl (WAV)

‘Country Girl’ was inspired by meeting the wonderful Troy Cassar-Daley in Sydney last year at the Golden Guitar Nominations. It cemented my love for writing songs and to keep going with my ambitions and songwriting. All the artists were so lovely and for the first time in my career I felt like one of them, not just a fan.

I hope that this song can also help me get to Tamworth as that’s what the song is about, the dream to finally get to the big stage, and my love for Australian Country Music.

My producer Laurie has done an amazing job with the music and production and so proud to have my daughter Bianca singing amazing backing vocals for me again.
