“Storms” is somewhat of a poignant song that addresses domestic abuse and the sorrow associated with emotional harm, particularly highlighted in the line where it mentions that the bruises from words are the ones that remain unhealed. I composed it many years ago and am thrilled to see it come to life now, as it is one of the first songs I created. The guitar work by Laurie, my producer and long-time musical companion, is fantastic and I believe it contributes significantly to the song’s appeal.
