This track is the final collaboration between bush balladeer Glenn Jones and the late singer-songwriter Glen Ford (“Fordie”).
Three-quarters complete at the time of Fordie’s untimely passing in a road accident in January 2025, Glenn Jones set about completing this last song as a tribute to his mate of 30 years’ standing.
You’ll find shades of Johnny Cash – Fordie always loved the outlaws – and a deeper message, one of hope and encouragement for anyone going through a rough patch.
