Glenn Jones – The Portrait’s Plain (WAV)

With a federal election looming our politicians will no doubt be beating their chests while telling us how well they have performed during the last term. They will of course be spruiking louder than the Ring Master at Ashtons Circus. Sadly, most Aussies see the political scene in Canberra as a circus. Politicians who live their lives buffered from the realities of day to day living. While a lot of Australians are living close to or below the bread line, a lot of Federal pollies and their appointed administrators are earning more than $500,000 per annum. I wonder if they spend their money as wisely as they spend ours? (sarcasm).

‘THE PORTRAIT’S PLAIN’ is in part a protest aimed squarely at the people who mismanage public funds all in the name of securing votes. Unfortunately, the decisions they make often cost hard working Aussies their livelihoods.
