With modern technology driving progress at an ever-increasing pace, it’s small wonder that everyday items become a thing of the past. The local newspaper is no exception. Though many of the larger towns and cities have managed to keep their printers running, many smaller publications have been forced to close their printed media. Some moving to the digital age, others gone for good.

Digital publications have replaced the local rag in many small centres while printing sheds are gathering dust. The digital age is here to stay, but it can’t replace the physical feel of a newspaper. Western Herald is dedicated to all the print media services no longer with us.
