Mundy-Turner
Mundy-Turner is a collaboration spanning three decades of two singer-songwriter-musicians, Cath Mundy from Meanjin/Brisbane and Jay Turner, originally from the UK.
Between 1995 and 2007 they toured full-time on the national and international acoustic-music circuit, bringing their original music and quirky storytelling to folk & acoustic venues, community centres, theatres & festivals, before settling in South-East Queensland to focus on parenthood & local arts projects.
In 2024, they were both awarded Order of Australia Medals for their Service to Performing Arts. Together they have produced seven full-length albums, plus a slew of singles, music videos and EPs. A new era in their creative journey is marked by the recent release of a new collection of songs on CD ‘MILLARD POP-TOP ’74’.
