Pete Rogers
Pete Rogers is a genre-bending singer-songwriter whose music is a vibrant blend of county, rock and folk music.
Born in Charleville QLD 1988, Peter grew up in a small town called Morven about 90km from Charleville. From the age he could hold a guitar he always had one in my hand with his father having a passion for music and playing in local bands. At the age of 8 he moved to a town called Biloela in QLD where he continued his music journey traveling around to various country music festivals and competing with his father standing behind playing the guitar.
As a teenager Peter had a family band with his father (Russell) on Bass, Brother (Casey) on drums, and mate (Nigel) on lead guitar playing at local venues around Biloela for a couple of years before the band members went separate ways.
After 17 years of working and raising a family and playing very little music Peter at the age of 37 is now back doing what he loves with a very deliberate focus on performing at every opportunity and producing his own original music.
