To mix it up a bit, Shelley’s latest single, ‘I Know Nothing About Love’ is a trip back to classic ‘90s Country. Twangy Telecaster guitars, crying Pedal Steel and a splash of Cajun Accordian and Harmonica.
The song is from the writing team of Shelley, producer and husband Lawrie Minson and Tamworth songwriter Paul Owen.
In Lawrie’s words – “the song has an irresistible chorus. The verses are from the perspective of someone who has seen the world yet still struggles with the complexity of loving relationships”.
Shelley has had a big year taking her music out to audiences across the country. Her next major festival appearance is Bony Mountain in Queensland in September.
