Runaway Dixie are Jim & Virginia Hermel, and Lynette Coad.
Since the trio’s formation in 2009, they have released 6 albums, multiple individual radio singles and achieved 4 Golden Guitar nominations with their original material.
With major Australian and International performances to their credit, Runaway Dixie continue to tour and release new music.
Their latest single ‘Territory Skies’ talks about the Northern Territory and coincides with the trio’s time in the NT over June and July 2024.
Recent accolades include the 2024 ICMA Award for Most Popular Independent Country Band, and the 2024 TSA Bluegrass Song of the Year with their 2023 single ‘Lonesome Highway Blues’.
Upcoming festival appearances include the Pt Pirie Country Music Festival in October and the Kyabram RV Festival in November.
