‘Mindarie Time’ has come about by a bit of a joke with my long-time producer, musician and friend, Laurie, who lives in the beautiful Perth, Western Australian seaside suburb of Mindarie. Because of his late working nights and late morning rises when I ring him, I always say “is the sun up in Mindarie yet, its 10am”.
So I wrote a song and with Laurie’s help we have recorded this song. My beautiful daughter Bianca is again singing the harmonies and the brilliant David Hartley from the UK is doing the Pedal Steel.
