Kevin Sullivan

Kevin Sullivan is an acclaimed singer/songwriter, taking you on an unforgettable journey from original songs, traditional Ballad’s, to anthems and toe tapping line dancing.  Sullivan usually writes and performs songs that relate to people, places and culture of Australia, particularly the outback.

The exciting evolution of the NSW South Coast singer/songwriter from the Dharawal Country with his music and sound is evidenced by his Australian SULLI-VAN tours, where despite the Covid pandemic, Kevin took his family on the road in 2020/21 and since then has performed over 300 shows, travelling over 180,000 kilometres. For over 20 years Sullivan performed and toured the outback and in 2013 headlined the Birsdville races. It was following a Nashville tour in 2013 when he met co-writer Matt Scullion, taking the pair a further five years to collaborate and write “Dianne” at the Senior Academy of Country Music. A turning point for Sullivan who has now spent the last decade chasing his dream full time. Sullivan launched his first Album in 2018, which charted number two on the charts and has since collaborated with a number of artists including Bill Chambers who features on his latest Album Threeways, with their duet ‘High Country Snows’.

A career highlight was when Kevin appeared along with his singing children, The Sulli-Vans on Channel 7’s, The Voice: Generations with Keith Urban remarking, “your beautiful Australian spirit was so present and gorgeous”. The Sulli-Vans are now supporting Kevin on his Australian tours and hartmonsie on a number of tracks on his latest Album “Threeways”.

With influences including his Dad who was a Dixie Land Jazz Pianist, Paul Kelly, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash, Kevin Sullivan’s shows are characterised by great Australian storytelling, humour and love, along with memorable covers of iconic country, folk, alt country and contemporary music.
