In the 1960’s, I was a guitar player backing a duet, The Barry Sisters, who were popular on radio and Television Australia wide, including Bandstand on the Nine Network with Brian Henderson.
When they retired, Dorothy Barry went solo and Lorna, my wife and I wrote songs for well-known singers, Jimmy Little, Val Doonican, Patsy Anne Noble and many more.
Sadly, Lorna passed away six years ago so I decided to record some of our songs in her memory. The song “I’d Walk a Hundred Miles” was dedicated to her.
