August Lane

August is a British-Australian singer/songwriter/musician who grew up with musical influences from many genres and greats. She toured the UK as a singer in a covers band and also sang in a rock-indie band and toured Northern England as well as The Netherlands. She found her love for country music at a young age with influences such as Dolly and Johnny and June. You can hear elements of different genres throughout her songs.

She focuses on writing from the heart and her songs resonate with fans across the globe. Her first EP ‘notebook sessions’ was released at the end of 2024.

As well as being a singer, Cait’s other love is fiddle playing. Since picking up the instrument at four years old, she has done backing band work for several artists, such as Kasey Chambers, Tori Forsyth, Melody Moko and Hayley Marsten.
