Cody Walker – Six Strings Shooter (WAV)
$2.19
Cody Walker is a country-rock artist hailing from Tamworth, NSW, blending a powerful, gritty voice with soul-soaked lyrics and distorted guitars.
Raised in a house full of music, and as such playing most of his life, he’s shaped a sound that channels the storytelling influence from the likes of Johnny Cash and Chris Stapleton with the modern twist of Hardy and Ole 60. Cody blends raw storytelling with a rock edge, diving deep into themes of life’s darker corners, mental health, pain, purpose, and all the chaos in between — offering a voice for anyone fighting battles of their own.
‘Six String Shooter’, Cody Walker’s second single to be released in as many months.
Cody follows up his debut single with an equally deep dive into the themes of life’s darker corners, mental health, pain, purpose and the story telling of the calm in the chaos.
An instrument that now looking back was wielded as a defensive weapon, ‘Six String Shooter’ speaks for itself, again blending a powerful, gritty voice, with soul soaked lyrics and distorted guitars, it challenges the idealism of what we are to do, when the devil on the left and the angel on the right, argue over that crossroads we are standing at.
