REFLECTIONS, the seventh and much-anticipated album by Connie Kis Andersen is finally here and well worth the wait.  With ten beautifully written and recorded tracks, the album’s presentation and subject matter is flawless.

At the helm of the project in the producer’s chair was her long-time friend, Doug Wayne Holmquist, a Grammy nominated industry veteran - and with him, a team of Nashville’s finest A-list musicians.

Recorded between Perth, Western Australia and Nashville TN, the project was a labour of love between the self-managed, independent artist, Connie Kis (also affectionately known as CKA) and her producer, Doug Wayne. It is released through the Indie label, Kismana Music.

Of the recording process, CKA tells us, “After I wrote the songs, and so that I could demonstrate each song’s instrumentation and feel, I sequenced backing music for them as reference tracks for Doug.  I then sent the demos to him to do his magic with, using real live musicians.  It was a back-and-forth collaborative process which included recording my lead vocals here in my studio in Perth.   And between us, this album is the end result – one that I am so very proud of, and could not be happier with, thanks to the brilliant work of Doug and his band of wonderful musicians.  Naturally, I am excited now, to share it with the world.”
