Dianne Coombes – Heading West Again (MP3)
$1.65
‘Heading West Again’ is a song I wrote about the absolute joy I always feel when travelling up and over the tablelands in Northern NSW heading out west. It describes the landmarks and amazing beauty I see when travelling that mark the way and fill me with excitement and anticipation of the trip and destination.
I co-wrote the song with the amazing Angus Gill whose command of melody is absolute and I’m joined in the song by the wonderful Bill Chambers whose voice grounds the song so very well. Produced by Angus Gill, it has the very best mixing of instrumentation and vocals.
Heading west is always full of adventure and gives me the most amazing feeling of freedom and space to breathe, which is what I have tried to capture in this song.
It always makes me feel like a kid at Christmas!
