Multi award winning songwriter, Kylie Adams-Collier, releases her latest single, ‘The Highland Life’. A picturesque ballad beautifully capturing the highlands of New England.
Her song was inspired by a family stay in Uralla and before long, her lyrical piece started writing itself. She paints a picture of golden fields under an endless sky, the Moonbi range, boulder trails, Captain Thunderbolt, and a family life on the farm and on the road.
Michael Carpenter recorded, mixed, and mastered ‘The Highland Life’ at The House Studio, Sydney, in February 2025. This delightful track features Kylie on rhythm guitar and vocals, Michael Carpenter on drums, double bass, guitar, dobro guitar and mandolin and Luke Moller on fiddle.
‘The Highland Life’ is set for worldwide release on the 21 of March and will also be released on The Balladeers Vol 27 compilation CD.
