Morgan Tucker

Morgan Tucker is an Americana Country Singer-Songwriter from the small town of Dorrigo NSW. Influenced by the outlaw country movement from pioneers like Willie and Waylon to modern day torch bearers Sturgill Simpson and Charley Crockett. With a booming voice and effortless finger picking his songs are raw and powerful.

‘Mary Anne’ is the first single lifted from Morgan Tucker’s new Album ‘For Better Or Worse’.

“This song is about being stuck in a rut and foolishly placing all your hopes of happiness on someone else and a fresh start in a new place, but ultimately, when things don’t work out, finding yourself alone again.

“Unlike most of my songs this one came to me very easily and was, for the most part, written in one afternoon. I am really happy with how it turned out, in particular I love the harmonies in the chorus and the fiddle and lap steel that give the song a real traditional country honky tonk feel.” Morgan Tucker

His brand new album ‘For Better Or Worse’ is a terrific listening album with a sullen current that gives Morgan his own twist on Americana. We are not surprised on listening to Morgan’s album that Bill Chambers said in his quote it was one of the best album projects that he’s worked on. The love of the project shows in its quality production and melodic country alt vibe.

Morgan’s album, ‘For Better Or Worse’, was produced by Bill Chambers and Morgan Tucker
and was recorded at Bill Chambers’ Studio ‘Chambers Ave’. The album features some
great musicians including acclaimed country musicians Jeff McCormack, Paul Novosel, Gabi Louise and Bill Chambers.

“Working with Morgan Tucker on his album was such a treat! Great tunes and lyrics, with a healthy splash of slide guitars and vocal harmonies!
One of my favourite projects ever”. Bill Chambers.
