Peter Campbell

Peter Campbell has been busy for the last few years.  2017 saw the release of his debut EP, ‘Better Late Than Never.’  One track, ‘The Lost Solider’ picked up the Anzac Song of the Year Award at the 2020 Tamworth Songwriters Association Awards.  Another track, ‘Festival Blues’ was featured on the official guide compilation album at the 2022 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

In 2023 he released his first album, ‘Journey’ with four tracks making the finals at the Tamworth Songwriters Association and Capital Country Music Association Awards in 2024 and 2025 respectively.  Jon Wolfe from Country Music Capital News described the album as “Country rock with stories and feeling.”

Peter is a finalist at the 2026 Indie Country Music Australia Awards in two categories namely, Best Country Album and Best Traditional Country Artist.

Peter has just released a music video to go with his guitar driven, country rock, speedway anthem ‘Out on the Clay.’  The single is available on Amazon and the video can be found on YouTube.
