The Curry Mob – If It Ain’t Broke (MP3)

I wrote this song about where we live and our home. We live beside an old bullock track where they used to run the cattle down to the train line. We lease some land on a bush block from one of Dad’s mates and this is where we built our base, where we stay when we are not travelling around. We built everything by hand, cutting the timber ourselves and dragging it down and removing the bark and setting the posts in the ground and building a shed. We catch rainwater in a tank and run a generator for power and live simply, just the way we like it. No tv or loud music just my sister, mum and dad and me and our guitars. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
