Trent Richardson

Trent Richardson’s journey into music began with a leap of faith — stepping onto the stage of Australian Idol having never performed live or even sung in front of an audience before. What started as a bold risk quickly revealed a natural storyteller with a raw, unmistakable connection to country music. That defining moment lit the spark for a career built on honesty, courage, and a deep love for the craft.

Since then, Trent has been carving out his place in Australian country music, earning his stripes the real way through relentless performing, songwriting, and time spent in the studio shaping his sound. From local stages to growing audiences, he’s been steadily building a reputation as a genuine, hard working artist with something real to say. His dedication was recognised in 2026 when he was crowned Today’s Country 94One Brand New Star, marking a major milestone in his rising career.

With every performance and release, Trent continues to evolve, bringing authenticity and heart to everything he does. As he builds momentum across the country music scene, he’s quickly becoming one to watch an artist grounded in real experience, with his sights firmly set on a big future.
