Wattmore – I Don’t Miss That Woman (MP3)
$1.65
‘I Don’t Miss That Woman’ is another banger from Brisbane cowpunk duo, Wattmore. It is unmistakeably country and undeniably punk, but ‘I Don’t Miss That Woman’ has a new twist. Kai and Aiden come from a trucking family and have created, with regular collaborator legendary songwriter, Allan Caswell, the first song in their own special sub-genre … truck punk.
‘I Don’t Miss That Woman’ has a time-honoured classic country storyline … you get your heart broken and leave town in your truck, preferably a Kenworth, but the classic punk attitude is always near the surface.
As with their first two singles, ‘Circus Life’ and ‘Romantic Side’, producer Lindsay Waddington has assembled a posse of the very best Australian country players who drive the track like a semi chasing a tight deadline.
