Tony Cook is a country artist with passion for good people and great music.
Since hitting the scene in 2015, Tone has been incredibly lucky to have shared the stage with some high profile and talented artists / bands over the years. Adam Brand, Travis Collins, Troy Cassar-Daley, The McClymonts, James Blundell & Phil Emmanuel as well as Mental as Anything to name a few.
Having toured extensively through Queensland and interstate he’s played some incredible events over the years, namely Townsville’s Country Music Muster, Winton’s Way Out West Fest, Rockhampton’s Beef Week Australia and River Festival as well as Charters Towers Rocks in support of Wendy Matthews and Russell Morris.
After winning Tamworth’s People’s Choice award for best male vocal in 2019, Tony has been concentrating on producing new material and sought out the assistance of Aria and Golden Guitar winner Shane Nicholson to produce his new music.
With the worldwide pandemic hitting our shores in 2020 the process has been painstakingly slow, but as they say all good things come to those who wait.
2022 will see the release of new material from Tony and as usual he hopes Australian audiences will embrace his music always with good intent and great meaning.
Tony Cook is a person who loves to be surrounded with good people, preferably in an outback hotel in the middle of nowhere. His music tells stories and has meaning and is well worth a listen. With a string of community radio airplay chart topping hits, you never know, you might just come away with a different perspective and a new favourite artist.
